We work with a number of police forces across the country to support their Home Office research requirements. In addition to performing victims of crime research, we have undertaken diagnostic qualitative research using a series of focus groups.
By bringing together victims of crime from both ends of the satisfaction scale, the forums facilitated an in-depth understanding of victim expectations and perceptions of their dealing with the police. Using qualitative research to understand key drivers of satisfaction when dealing with the police provided improved understanding of confidence drivers and what satisfies victims.
Additional research we have implemented includes research into public accessibility amongst 1,000 residents, neighbourhood policing amongst 2,000 residents and confidence and satisfaction research amongst 2,400 residents.
Humberside Police have used this input across the Force to drive specific strategies, objectives and improvement.
