Environmental Policy
Maven is committed to improving its environmental performance by setting objectives and targets to reduce waste and the use of resources.
We:-

Are working towards ISO14001 accreditation

Include environmental training as part of our staff induction programme

Reduce travel miles by employing the use of technology to prevent unnecessary journeys

Offset the carbon emissions where air travel is essential

Encourage staff to use public transport via annual season ticket loans and provide only limited parking at our offices

Minimise the use of paper with electronic filing systems

Issue each employee with a recycling bin at their desk for waste paper

Reduce waste going to landfill by recycling paper, cardboard and plastics

Have isolated lighting sources and label switches for all offices areas

Are replacing light bulbs with energy efficient ones

Turn off lights, computers and photocopiers at the end of the day.

Have replaced all monitors with more energy saving LCD screens

Have begun consolidating and virtualising servers, reducing power required and heat produced

Are replacing all computers and servers with multi-core processor devices that consume a third of the energy of
single core processors.
Quality Director, Michele Jenkins, is responsible for implementing
this policy and communicating it to each employee.
Our policy is subject to annual review to fit the aims of Munro Global and its
subsidiary companies and to reflect latest environmental initiatives
and thinking.
