Maven serves the UK and European Construction sector with research services. Providing understanding of customer, employee, supplier, channel partner and stakeholder relationships. Our aim is to provide added value research services and flexible services to our customers.

We differentiate ourselves by taking time to understand your markets, structure, service delivery mechanisms and your business objectives. Our services are delivered by in-house professionals who are skilled in designing, developing, project managing and delivering quality research.

We understand the increasingly competitive Construction sector; our vision is "To provide creative insights that give you the edge".

Maven offer research solutions providing improved insight to your market place and how your business is perceived amongst your competitors, identifying what services and employee behaviours differentiate you in your market place. Some examples of research conducted in the Construction sector are:

  • Measuring customers expectations and perceptions
  • Providing insight to business partners
  • Measuring channel partner relationships
  • Providing insight to trading environments / competitors
  • Measuring employee satisfaction / employee engagement
  • Providing understating of stakeholder requirements
  • Measuring supplier relationships
  • Measurement of internal supplier services, I.T., Training, Service Delivery Functions
  • Monitoring changing attitudes, perceptions, expectations & delivery
  • Probing and diagnosing key issues / opportunities as they arise

Maven offers a suite of research methodologies, which can be used individually or combined to support your research objectives.

We offer comprehensive solutions supporting multi modal data collection. Our clients can select data collection methods such as telephone, email, postal, web-based or voice recognition input. We have our own in-house tele-research (CATI) unit.

All of our research work is customised to the individual client and service, since no two organisations are identical and customers have very different expectations and requirements.

Many of our manufacturing sector clients have used the PZB Gap Analysis methodology as a starting point to gain understanding of their customer expectations of the ideal service provider; then measure how well customers perceive service is delivered. This supports analysis of where customers perceive Gaps exist in service provision and enables actions to be implemented in support of continuous improvement.

Our research approach supports Constructing Excellence; programmes are individually designed to support the KPI measurements defined in this standard.

Maven also applies Gap Analysis when a 360 Deg view of a business environment is required. For example Customers, Stakeholders, Suppliers and Employees.

This approach enables an in depth understanding of your business environment and through focussed insight enables implementation of improvement actions that can enhance supply chain services and deliver improved business results.

Our Gap Analysis methodology has been approved by the British Quality Foundation and supports research requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

Some of our Manufacturing Sector clients include Pilkington Building Products Europe, Gypsum Products Development Association, Hanson Building Products, British Gypsum, Balfour Beatty, Federation of Plasterers and Drywalling Contractors, Amec, Association of Interior Specialists, Timbmet Silverman, Design for Homes, Crown Lifts and Birse Rail.
